- Nose Job Surgery Cost

You probably never thought that the problem you have been having with your foot was serious. That is why you were shocked when your trip to a podiatry office ended up with you learning that you needed to have foot surgery. While there are not many people who get really excited at the prospect of having a surgical procedure, you have to remember that after you are healed you will feel much better.
Recovering from any kind of foot surgery is never fun. However, there are a lot of things you can do ahead of time to make the recovery process a whole lot easier for both you as well as your friends and family. Here are a few of those tips.
Remove any rugs that you might catch your toes on. This applies to other things that may be lying on the floor throughout your house like cords, dog toys, etc. Look at your furniture and decide if anything needs to be temporarily relocated. You will want to have a clear path to the door, the kitchen and the bathroom. Clean your house before you have surgery. Nobody likes to come home to a dirty house in the first place, but doing so after surgery is even worse. You know that you are not going to feel like cleaning when you get home. However, if you come home to a clean house, you can get by with not cleaning for a longer time.
Stock up on groceries. Make sure that you go shopping before your surgery. You will want to make sure that your house is stocked with food that you will want to eat and food that will be easy to prepare. You will not be in a position to do any cooking. You should also stock up on activities that you can do from the couch. You know that you will not be very mobile for a few days and you will not feel like doing anything anyway. Make sure that you have plenty of movies, games, magazines or books to occupy your time.
You should also make sure that your bills are paid ahead of time. You will be tired and you will not feel good. Any chores like bill paying should be done ahead of time so you will not have to worry about it while you recover. It is also a good idea to prepare the place where you will spend most of your time. Decide if you will be in your bedroom or on the couch. Then make sure everything you might need is within reach of whichever of these places you choose. Another good idea is to make sure that your friends and family have keys. That way, when they come to check in on you, you will not have to get up to go to the door for them. You should keep a pen and paper handy as well. People will be constantly asking you how they can help. When you think of something that you need help with, write it down. That way, when the next person comes to visit, you will be able to remember the 2 – 3 things that you need them to do for you.
